| Unless otherwise specified in this code, the following buildings shall be provided with automatic fire-extinguishing systems, and automatic sprinkler systems should be adopted: Class I high-rise public buildings (including hotel buildings) and their basements and semi-basements; public activity rooms, corridors, offices and guest rooms of hotels, combustible materials storage rooms, and the underside of escalators in Class II high-rise public buildings (including hotel buildings) and their basements and semi-basements.
