| Lighting evacuation indicators shall be installed in evacuation walkways, stairwells, safety exits and other locations in public buildings (including hotels), with a spacing not greater than 20 m; in dead-end walkways, not greater than 10 m; and in walkway corner areas, not greater than 1.0 m.
