| Except for residential buildings with a building height of less than 27 m, civil buildings (including hotels) shall be provided with evacuation lighting in evacuation corridors and at safety exits, and the minimum horizontal illuminance on the floor shall be: not less than 1.0 lx for evacuation corridors, not less than 3.0 lx for densely occupied areas (such as hotel lobbies), and not less than 5.0 lx for stairwells, antechambers or shared antechambers.
