| The fire resistance rating of civil buildings shall be determined based on their building height, use function, importance, and difficulty of firefighting and rescue, and shall comply with the following provisions: the fire resistance rating of underground or semi-underground buildings (rooms) and Class I high-rise buildings shall not be lower than Grade I; the fire resistance rating of single-story and multi-story important public buildings and Class II high-rise buildings shall not be lower than Grade II. Hotel buildings (including high-rise hotels) shall meet this requirement.
