| | Dry system: a closed system in which the piping is filled with pressurized gas (usually compressed air or nitrogen) used to actuate the system under normal standby conditions. Suitable for locations in hotels that may be subject to freezing, such as unheated rooftop water tank rooms or outdoor corridors. |
