| The type of emergency power supply should be selected according to the permitted power supply interruption time: for supplies with a permitted interruption time of 15s or more, a fast self-starting generator set may be used; for supplies with a permitted interruption time in the millisecond range, a battery-based static uninterruptible power supply device or a diesel-engine uninterruptible power supply device may be used.
