| Air velocity in air ducts of the air-conditioning system shall comply with the following requirements: the air velocity in the main duct should not exceed 8 m/s, and that in branch ducts should not exceed 5 m/s; for quiet rooms such as guest rooms in hotel buildings, the air velocity in the main duct should not exceed 5 m/s, and that in branch ducts should not exceed 3 m/s.
