What should be noted in hotel MEP design?
【MEP Director | d】Hotel MEP design must focus on the following aspects and comply with GB standards:
1. HVAC Systems (GB 50019)
- Guest room fresh air volume ≥30 m³/(h·person), public area CO₂ concentration ≤1000 ppm
- Zoned control to avoid noise transmission (≤35 dB(A))
- Grade I load distribution (e.g., fire protection, elevators), dual-source end switching
- Guest room circuits independent, lighting/sockets separately configured, leakage protection trip current ≤30 mA
- Hot water system requires circulation design; install circulation pipe when branch pipe length >10 m
- Drainage pipe acoustic treatment (De110 riser noise ≤45 dB)
- Sprinkler spacing ≤3.6 m (guest rooms)/3.0 m (public areas), full smoke detection coverage
- Evacuation signage spacing ≤15 m, independent fire compartmentation for distribution rooms/elevator shafts
- Guest room network cabling ≥CAT6, wireless AP coverage density ≤15 m radius
- Security cameras with no blind spots, storage ≥30 days in key areas
- Waiting time ≤30 seconds (5-star standard), independent power supply for fire elevators
- Equipment selection must pass energy-efficiency certification (e.g., chillers with COP ≥3.0)
- Retain photographic records for concealed works acceptance (GB 50300-2013)
