| The cooling and heating sources of the air-conditioning system shall be comprehensively determined based on the building scale and usage characteristics, in combination with local energy structure, environmental protection policies and other factors. Hotel buildings should adopt a centralized cooling and heating source system, and the energy efficiency ratio (EER) of the cooling source shall not be lower than the specified values in the Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings GB 50189 (e.g., the COP of water-cooled chillers shall not be lower than 5.6, and that of air-cooled units shall not be lower than 3.2).
