**** | When a metal roof is used on a hotel roof, if the metal panel thickness is not less than **0.5mm** (iron) or **0.4mm** (copper) and there is no combustible material beneath, the metal roof itself may serve as an air-termination system. However, it is necessary to ensure good connections between panels and reliable welding to the down conductors.
