| Special provisions applicable to hotel buildings: Guest rooms in hotels shall be equipped with fire audible and visual alarm devices or fire emergency broadcasting, and each guest room shall be provided with at least one fire detector (smoke detector or heat detector); the protection area and radius of the detectors shall comply with the requirements of Section 6.2 of the code.
