| The straight-line distance from the evacuation door of a room directly opening onto an evacuation corridor in a public building to the nearest safety exit shall not exceed the values specified in the table below: for an evacuation door located between two safety exits, in a building of fire resistance class I or II, the distance for a high-rise hotel shall be 30 m; for an evacuation door located on both sides of or at the end of a dead-end corridor, the distance for a high-rise hotel shall be 15 m.
