| For Class I high-rise public buildings and Class II high-rise public buildings with a building height greater than 32m, smoke-proof stairwells shall be used for their evacuation stairs. For podium buildings and Class II high-rise public buildings with a building height not greater than 32m, enclosed stairwells shall be used for their evacuation stairs.
