How can the noise of fan coil units be prevented?
【HVAC | GB 50019】Fan coil unit noise prevention must be controlled across three aspects: selection, installation, and O&M: 1. During selection, prioritize low-noise products; fan impeller dynamic balance accuracy shall be no lower than G6.3 grade (GB/T 9239), and motor noise limits shall refer to GB/T 19232; 2. During installation, use vibration-damping hangers (GB 50019 Clause 6.5.4), install flexible connectors at duct connections, control air outlet velocity below 2.5 m/s (public buildings) or below 1.5 m/s (guest rooms), and install silencers at return air outlets; 3. During O&M, regularly clean filters, check impeller dust accumulation and bearing lubrication, and prevent abnormal noise caused by increased resistance or mechanical wear.
