| | Cable shafts and pipe shafts in buildings shall be sealed at each floor slab with non-combustible materials or firestop materials having a fire resistance rating not lower than that of the floor slab; openings connecting cable shafts and pipe shafts to rooms, corridors, etc. shall be sealed with firestop materials. |
