| Energy metering devices should be installed on the main supply and return water pipes of the cooling/heating source and on each major branch pipe (e.g., each floor or functional zone). In hotel buildings, cooling and heating meters should be installed separately for guest room areas, public areas, and back-of-house areas, with a metering accuracy of not less than Class 2 (error ±2%), for energy consumption analysis and cost allocation.
