| Monitoring and control of the ventilation system shall include: start/stop control, status display and fault alarm of supply and exhaust fans; differential pressure monitoring of air filters (alarm when the differential pressure exceeds the set value, e.g., 150 Pa); adjustment of fresh air volume (e.g., CO₂ concentration control, automatically increasing fresh air volume when CO₂ concentration exceeds 1000 ppm). Exhaust systems such as hotel kitchens and bathrooms shall be interlocked.
