| Water used for water features should be recycled. The make-up water volume of the circulation system should be determined based on losses from evaporation, drift, leakage, and blowdown; for indoor projects, 1%–3% of the circulating water flow rate should be used, and for outdoor projects, 3%–5% should be used.
