| The coefficient of linear expansion for plastic water supply pipes is approximately 0.07 mm/(m·℃). When the length of a straight pipe run exceeds 20 m, expansion joints or compensation devices should be installed; in hotel buildings, hot water plastic pipes should be provided with expansion compensation measures.
