| When cables are laid in a vertical shaft, fixed supports should be installed at regular intervals (e.g., 7 m), and firestop sealing should be provided at the bottom and top of the shaft. Hotel electrical shaft doors should be fire doors, and the interior must not be used to store miscellaneous items.
