| When cables are installed in conduits, the inner diameter of the protective conduit shall not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the cable. For conduits embedded in walls or floor slabs in hotels, intermediate joints shall be avoided in damp areas such as guest room headboards and bathrooms.
