| When cables are laid in cable trays, the trays shall be installed within the ceiling of public areas or in dedicated electrical shafts, and shall meet firestop requirements. In hotel guest room floor corridors, cable trays within the ceiling shall avoid crossing or conflicting with fire protection and water supply/drainage pipes.
