| **** | The surface quality of welds on pipes and pipe fittings shall meet the following requirements: the weld profile dimensions shall comply with the drawings and process documents; the weld reinforcement shall not be lower than the base metal surface, and the weld shall transition smoothly to the base metal; the surfaces of the weld and heat-affected zone shall be free from defects such as cracks, lack of fusion, incomplete penetration, slag inclusions, arc craters, and porosity. |
