If installed inside the hoistway (e.g., landing door locks, inspection boxes), it shall be no lower than **IP4X** (protection against solid foreign objects ≥1 mm in diameter). In humid areas of the hotel (e.g., beside the pool, underground garage), it shall be increased to **IP54** (dust-tight + splash-proof). |
