Interpretation of ELV intelligent design standards and specifications

Weak-current intelligent systems Updated 2026-04-25 0 views

Systematically review the national standards, industry codes and international standards systems involved in ELV intelligent design, with a focus on interpreting the key clauses of core codes such as GB50314, …

1. Overview of the Weak-Current Intelligent Systems Standard System

China's weak-current intelligent systems standard system consists of national standards (GB/GB/T), industry standards (JGJ/CJ), local standards, and association standards. Core standards include: GB 50314-2015 Code for Design of Intelligent Building (general standard), GB 50311-2016 Code for Engineering Design of Generic Cabling System, GB 50116-2013 Code for Design of Automatic Fire Alarm System, GB 50198-2011 Technical Code for Engineering of Civil Closed-Circuit Television Surveillance System, and the GB/T 28847 Building Automation and Control System series of standards.

2. Interpretation of Key Provisions of Core Design Codes

Key points of GB 50314-2015: The intelligent systems should include six major systems—information application systems, intelligent integration systems, information facility systems, building equipment management systems, public security systems, and equipment room engineering (Chapter 4); the intelligent system configuration for hotel buildings should include specialty systems such as guest room centralized control systems, hotel operation and management systems, and banquet and conference systems (Chapter 9); system integration should adopt a unified platform and information-sharing strategy (Chapter 5).

3. Integrated Application of Design Standards for Each Subsystem

Weak-current intelligent systems are multi-system integrated engineering, and the design standards of each subsystem must be coordinated and unified. Generic cabling (GB 50311) provides transmission channels; computer networks (GB/T 22239-2019 Cybersecurity Classified Protection) provide data communication; security systems (GA/T 367-2014 Video Security Surveillance System and GA/T 394-2002 Access Control System) ensure safety; building automation (GB/T 28847) enables equipment management; and equipment room engineering (GB 50174-2017 Code for Design of Data Centers) provides the operating environment.

4. Design Review and Standard Implementation Assurance

Measures to ensure design standards are fully implemented: implement a three-tier review system during the design phase—self-review, specialist review, and joint review; construction drawing design documents must pass review by a construction drawing review agency; key equipment selection must comply with the technical parameter requirements specified in the standards; when issuing design changes, the impact on standard compliance must be assessed; and during completion acceptance, items must be checked one by one against the standard provisions.
