Water Supply Equipment Selection and Configuration
Hotel water supply equipment mainly includes variable-frequency constant-pressure water supply units, water tanks, pressure stabilization tanks, pressure reducing valve groups, etc. Core selection parameters: (1) Pump flow rate is determined by the maximum hourly water consumption on the peak day for each zone, calculated per GB 50015-2019 Appendix B (hotel guest room water quota 300-400L/bed·d, hourly variation coefficient 2.0-2.5); (2) Pump head is calculated as the water pressure required at the most unfavorable point + geometric height difference + head loss, with a margin of 10%-15%; (3) The effective volume of the water tank is determined at 20%-25% of the peak-day water consumption, using stainless steel assembled water tanks (plate thickness not less than 1.5mm); (4) The pressure stabilization tank volume is calculated based on 3-5min pump flow rate, with the bladder made of food-grade butyl rubber. Recommended equipment configuration: for 200-300 guest rooms, configure 2 water supply pumps (one duty, one standby) + 1 small-flow pump (night operation); for 300-500 guest rooms, configure 3 water supply pumps (two duty, one standby).
Hot Water Equipment Selection and Configuration
Hotel hot water equipment includes heat source equipment (boilers, heat pumps, solar collectors), heat exchangers, hot water tanks, circulation pumps, etc. Selection points: (1) Total heat source capacity is calculated based on the maximum hourly hot water consumption on the peak day; the hotel guest room hot water quota is 120-160L/bed·d (60 degrees), with an hourly variation coefficient of 4.0-5.0; (2) Heat exchanger selection: the storage volume of volumetric heat exchangers is determined at 15-25min of maximum hourly water consumption; the heat exchange area of semi-instantaneous heat exchangers is calculated by formula; (3) Hot water tanks are made of stainless steel with smooth inner walls to prevent bacterial growth, and the effective volume is determined at 20%-30% of the peak-day water consumption; (4) Circulation pumps are sized based on riser heat loss flow rate, with variable-frequency control. A composite heat source scheme of solar + heat pump + gas boiler is recommended to achieve energy complementarity and energy-saving operation.
Drainage and Grease Separation Equipment Selection
Hotel drainage equipment mainly includes sewage lifting pump stations, grease separation equipment, reclaimed water treatment equipment, etc. Selection points: (1) Sewage lifting pumps: basement drainage flow rate is determined at 2-3 times the maximum hourly drainage volume, and the head is calculated as the maximum lifting height + 10% margin. Dual-pump alternating operation is recommended, with single unit flow selected at 70% of total flow. Pump body material not lower than HT250 cast iron, impeller in stainless steel. (2) Grease separation equipment: treatment capacity is determined according to kitchen scale, with empirical data of 15-25L drainage per seat per meal. Fully automatic oil-water separators include air flotation devices and automatic slag discharge functions, with treatment capacity selected at 1.2-1.5 times the maximum hourly drainage volume. (3) Reclaimed water treatment equipment: MBR membrane bioreactor process is adopted, with treatment capacity determined at 60%-80% of the hotel wastewater volume, and effluent quality meeting the requirements of GB/T 18920 "Urban Sewage Recycling and Reuse—Water Quality Standard for Urban Miscellaneous Water Consumption".
Equipment Brand Comparison and Procurement Recommendations
Hotel water supply and drainage equipment brand selection should comprehensively consider factors such as brand awareness, product quality, after-sales service, and cost-effectiveness. Recommended mainstream domestic and international brands: Water pumps: Grundfos (Denmark), Wilo (Germany), Kaiquan (China), Nanfang Pump (China); Frequency converters: Danfoss (Denmark), ABB (Sweden), Siemens (Germany); Valves: Tyco (USA), VG (Germany), Guanlong (China), Liangong (China); Heat exchangers: Alfa Laval (Sweden), Tranter (USA), SWEP (Sweden), Lanshi (China). Procurement recommendations: (1) Key equipment (fire pumps, domestic water pumps) should preferentially use international first-tier brands; (2) Supporting valves and pipe fittings may use high-quality domestic brands to control costs; (3) During equipment procurement, the supply channels and lead times for spare parts must be confirmed; (4) Suppliers are required to provide complete equipment technical documentation (including performance curves, installation dimensions, wiring diagrams, etc.).
